The gingerbread men

I picked Luca up soon after 8 a.m., as usual. He and Eben were bubbling with enthusiasm as they told me all about a narrow boat trip they'd been on, the day before. Ruth used to live on a narrow boat, before moving in with Josh, and she has a friend who needed help with moving a boat from Sheffield towards Wakefield yesterday. She, Josh and the boys went to join in with the trip.
Having had a late bedtime after Sunday's excitement, Luca was quite tired. So we went for some easy options during the day, including fun with gingerbread dough and gingerbread man cutters. One or two got eaten before there was time for any decorations...
