Life and death in the Delph
Got some lovely pressies this morning for Father's Day, then Fiona took us all oout for breakfast before going through to Tullibody to visit Tommy and Caroline. The sun was out and we sat in their garden for most of the time. Sarah and I took Charlie round to the Delph Pond and the playpark there.
According to Tommy, there were four ducklings yesterday. A big pike lives in the pond that eats the ducklings. If this is the case, no wonder the mother looks so anxious - no wonder she's going along behind her children rather than letting them follow in her wake. It's possible however that this isn't the case. It can be difficult to tell with Tommy sometimes.
