Chives

Such pretty flowers for such a humble plant.  A fairly ordinary walk today from Homestead Close out to Waterfall Creek and back.  The track was fairly quiet but everything near the beach was packed.  The weather was warm and sunny but It isn’t holiday time yet, the town hasn’t been that crowded with tourists so who are these people and why aren’t they at work?  Working from home I suppose!!
Off to Dunedin tomorrow for a few days, returning on Monday.  The weather forecast is dreadful. My plans for walking in the Botanic Gardens are dwindling!
