A Bathing Boy

We spent the night in St Cloud last night after seeing the Fabulous Armadillos show. In the morning we went to see the Clemens Gardens. There are actually six formal, European-inspired gardens each with a different theme such as the Yellow Garden, the White Garden, the Perennial Garden, etc. The land was donated and the gardens started by Bill and Virginia Clemens in 1990.
The 24 foot Renaissance Fountain with Cranes is the centerpiece of the Gardens. This photo shows a small part of the fountain. There are four bathing boys surrounding the lowest pool. I thought this guy was adorable. You can see the top of the fountain here; the boys are below the cranes. At the top stands a sculpture of Hebe, Cup Bearer to the gods.
