Adder good day ..

So today I met a man I only knew from the internet, in a secluded wood - how bold!

We're in the same Facebook wildlife group and I'd said I wanted to see snakes and lizards and he was a man who knew where to find them ..

In the end we just saw one adder - and it buzzed off too quickly to take a photo, but we had a nice morning wandering about the heathland and chatting.

In the afternoon I went to Kiplingcotes, via a chalk quarry and played with my macro lens again - I really MUST try to remember to take my tripod with me next time!
