Childcare

I slept well last night and had a leisurely get up this morning. Today was our AGM at church so I didn't think I could inflict the service as well as the meeting on the girls, so we headed along in time for the meeting. It was lovely having them be admired by so many people, proud grandma time! So many remember their mum at this age and one or two their Grandma!
Today is my dad's birthday. He would have been 99 today.
After lunch I took Isobel to a birthday party. We were asked to go down to pick her up afterwards in the carpark of the venue. The birthday girl's very creative Grandma had made a pinata and they had a great time hitting it to make it burst so the sweets could escape. Brave dad held it up to be hit! Here is Isobel in action.
The birthday girl was at nursery with Isobel and they have kept their friendship going as they both go to the same dance class.
