Topless lighthouse

Storm Babette on the 20th October caused damage to the lighthouse at South Shields. This is the 3rd time we’ve been up there since then but this is the first time I’ve had chance to go and see it, and of course photograph it.

Taken from the Lawe top rather than the beach, and in extras is another one showing it in context.

Another long and tiring day, drove up, called to see mum in her care home, went to dad’s, collected Mrs H senior, had lunch at a Toby Carvery (which was very good!) dad went home from there and we took Mrs H senior to see Mr H senior in hospital. Struggled to pay for the hospital car parking as the camera system didn’t seem to realise our car was there! Took m-in-l home, drove back!

Positive from today is that I’ve got my photo!
