Or maybe those Kelpies are showing their true colours. Errant travellers being in short supply, they have taken to sinking the odd canal boat!
While strolling along the canal this afternoon at the Kelpies, we spotted this old motor launch which was very much a “doer upper” had sunk alongside the jetty. As it was in an extremely poor state of repair, I can imagine a plank gave way and the canal water moved in.
