Beautiful Curly Kale

Brief visit to the allotment this morning for a committee meeting and to pick some veg. Our plot isn't looking too bad! Lots of winter vegetables including the curly kale, chard, leeks, purple sprouting broccoli and pak choi. The summer was pretty rubbish for veg but the autumn and winter seems to be making up for it. It was too hot and sunny in early May then rubbish for the summer. Hey, next year is another year.
