Sunday Stroll

We walked at Emsworth this morning. Today the tide was low, right out in the distance the sea was visible. It was fortunate as the wind was blowing strong and it meant the path was free from waves and spray.

We sat on the quayside and had a cup of tea, and Andy and Merlin shared a pastie. There were plenty of people and dogs out. The miniature sailing boats were racing on the mill pond whilst other people were doing a litter pick - neither were very easy in the wind. We had a chance meeting with a friend so had a chat in the sunshine.

Gratefuls:
- To live near the sea and to be able to enjoy the diversity of experiences and interests it brings.
- For a bite of Andy’s pastie - it tasted especially delicious in the fresh air.
- Homemade blackberry jam on my toast at breakfast.
