Nearly Half Way Home
The annual walk back home from the post concert do at the Edinburgh Fiddle Festival was dry and not too cold this year. The beer and chat in a different pub from our usual Friday nights was excellent and the walk to the Pleasance was the shortest we’ve managed. The music was very good with most of the performers coming from Orkney/Shetland.
The walk back was way past the witching hour (all honest witches would have put their broomsticks away and made sure their cauldron fires were out by the time I got home). The weird thing was getting half my targetted step count for the day in before I got to bed.
