Winged Hunter

Fletcher and I often see this very impressive Red-shouldered hawk on our morning walks. She is a large and loud winged apex predator. Smaller birds and squirrels alike become very still and quiet when she's in the vicinity.  And her favorite menu items, reptiles and amphibians, make themselves scare as well.
