It hasn't really been a very good week for travel, not just for me but for others.
After being caught up in the French ATC strike I headed off to Belfast by coach ( and ferry) to go to the Titanic exhibition. Unfortunately when I had booked I didn't realise the G8 conference was happening and that security would be high again over there. This meant that after the exhibition we couldn't be dropped off near the City Halls and visit a really nice bar I had found last year, not to mention the very nice Avoca shop which is open late on a Saturday night.
However we happened upon an appropriate named Titanic pub which suited our requirements for the short time.
Also on board ship we mingled with the many I.F. Protesters for food for all campaign.
However, meantime, Glasgow Prestwick airport was hitting the headlines because of the Eygptian plane that was escorted in by fighter jets and a tourist boat on the Mersey capsizes! What was going on? I ask you? Anything to do with the new moon earlier in the week?!
Definitely recommend the Titanic Experience ! Need to I am making my 3rd trip in August.
