Tourists and remembrance

We showed our Australian guests some sights in the city including tame eels and trout that live in the river running trough our city. Lots of people stop to view and feed the fish and ducks. Even the dogs enjoy the view. 
On the way home we stopped at our large department store,  Ballantynes. In 1947 they had a devastating fire with many people perishing. There is a memorial on display in the store listing the names of the victims. A very moving sight.
