Hunters

The girls were hunting with the boys this afternoon. I stayed home with the pups. Mace was his grumpy old dog self and still isn’t feeling the love for Otis. Otis and I enjoyed our time playing with toys. We worked on “sit” when he returned his ball playing fetch. He’s super smart and it didn’t take him long to get the hang of it.

Ten minutes left of legal light, both Liv and Colby and BJ and Kaylee returned home. Colby and Liv were sitting in the Kitchen window watching the field. Two minutes after they sat down, Colby says “look at these two”. I looked up to see that Kaylee and Bj had taken their seats on the deck to watch the field. To the last minute of legal light the four of them watched the field expectantly. Thank god nothing stepped out of the woods… who would’ve taken the shot???
