Lala's Journal

Returned

As I opened the gate this morning to take Dog for a quick walk around the block in the pouring rain, I spied my compost bin! Missing for 5 days, I guess the wind must have taken it somewhere and the finder slipped it over the wall. It wasn’t there yesterday, so maybe my next door neighbours who haven’t moved in yet, but come at the weekends to do decorating and repairs.

Although a low mood day, I did achieve some minor wins. The tyre pressure warning light came on in the car yesterday, and I knew I had to deal with it. James had bought and sent me one of the machines (B did have one, but for the life of me I can’t find it). Again in the rain, I did all four. I’m sure most readers do this job anyway, but B was the practical one, and I’d never done it before!

I had to drive to the Benenden again, a journey I dislike when the weather is bad, and I noticed on the satnav that there was also an accident which was causing delays. I set off early and although the smashed car was still in the middle of the lane, police were in attendance and it didn’t take long to get past. Then for the MRI. I did not like it! Nothing wrong with in principal, I was not wholly in the tube, but flat on my back for twenty minutes was agony. It took me 5 minutes to get off the trolley thing as both hips were screaming and my back had kind of sized up. I’ve also had a headache all evening, I’m fairly sure it’s because I was so tense the whole time, I just could not relax! Anyway it’s done now and I have an appointment with the doctor for the results in January.
