Stars!

Autumn, sunk from sky
to ground.  No longer above
rather, under foot.

I was taking Leo for a quick walk around the block and I was struck by how pretty these leaves were on the pavement.  Just like stars!  
Anyway, it's been a nice quiet day.  Ben slept well and then he went off with his PAs at 10am for a swim and some lunch and didn't get back until 3:30pm.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I took Leo for a walk on the field by the brook and enjoyed watching him chase around, then I made sausage sandwiches for lunch, did a bit of cleaning and began a bit of online Christmas Shopping.. shocking! Ben was happy when he arrived home and the evening has been pretty calm so far.  Not very interesting but sometimes that's a good thing!
