Halftime
Cavalry Park, in the shadow of Arthur's Seat, makes a great setting for a game on a morning as sunny as today - the pitch is at a lower level than the main park and the gentle slope down makes for comfortable spectating. It appears to be a good venue for a halftime team talk too, with a 2-5 deficit at halftime ending up a 6-5 victory.
I was astonished before kickoff to see a deer, though it quickly disappeared into the trees - foxes are quite common around Edinburgh and I've once seen a badger, but this was my first urban deer.
