Liebermann pottery

For the final of the pottery themed Blips, we move to Johannesburg, South Africa

These two earthenware casserole dishes were made by the Liebermann pottery, founded in 1956 by Sammy and Mary Liebermann who were influenced by the famous British potter, Bernard Leach.

The larger one shows a patina of age from its repeated use over the years.
