Royal Scots Club, Abercromby Place

Our monthly 'Open History Society' is held at the Royal Scots Club.  We had an interesting talk from Professor Cordelia Beattie about Alice Thornton and her rediscovered manuscripts.  It was one of those tales of discovery that you couldn't make up.  Truly serendipity where quite literally a man goes into a pub and says I've found some old notebooks!
