Alder Tree Catkins and Cones

The day starts with blue sky, but clouds and drizzle move in.

A friend came around for a chat, so we headed down to Braidburn Valley Park. Photo of a branch from an Alder Tree. It is an unusual tree having seed cones and catkins. The to the off licence to buy red wine before heading to the local café for coffee and a wee bite to eat.
