Proud parents

Saw a couple of swan families today. And lots of black-tailed godwits and a little egret and other stuff. Apparently there was a rare Bonaparte's Gull there; they don't usually cross the Atlantic preferring to stay in Canada and Alaska. However it looks so much like a Little Gull that even if it had sat on my hat I'd not have been able to identify it.

Only had a short time away from home as I'm working on a presentation for later this week - I know that it's the weekend but I'll be happier when I know that this is done and ready.
