Granny's best bonnet
This is the most flamboyant aquilegia in the garden. It's popular with bees, although they are confused by it, and look for nectar in the spurs.
Today I have mostly been gardening. I've pulled up a huge number of weeds, and made space to plant some of the plants that Lapper has grown for me. There were a lot more weeds than I had realised (aren't there always?), so I have only managed to plant the tomatoes. The are in the flower bed next to the patio, planted nice and deep. It's very hot there so hopefully they'll think they're in a greenhouse.
I think the forecast is for rain tomorrow, so I might get wet while planting the other plants
