It's that time of the year again.

Kendal Mountain Festival 2023*

Different now, no presenting for me today, but instead a Boardman Tasker Charitable Trust agm in the morning, a couple of meetings in the afternoon and then the book prize event in the evening.
As ever it's been fab to see so many old and new friends. Mrs IttH came in for a meal before the event and we ended up sharing a table with two ex-BMC colleagues, lots of laughs.

Tomorrow I'm presenting 5(!) sessions including the Best Mountaineering film winner.

*I'm just going to skip over what a farcical mess Kendal Towns organisation/response is to this tourist boom, but virtually impossible to park, no park and ride implemented, no shuttle buses, a total joke. Can't be imagine it creates the sort of impression that makes visitors want to return.
