Golden

A beautiful morning so we just had to go for a walk. This avenue of beech trees is quite  near my home, and I have blipped it before, at different times of the year. Beech AvenueThe leaves looked especially  great today.  
This afternoon we went to a Christmas song  workshop for our ukulele group to practise playing Christmas carols and songs in readiness for various gigs. Over sixty people came along! It was great fun as always. However, the first scheduled gig, at the Christmas Lights Switch- on in Eastleigh,  tomorrow, has been cancelled because of a dire weather forecast: heavy rain and strong winds again.
