The New Table

Which I have discovered unsurprisingly, takes much longer to assemble than it did to disassemble! 

I have had a busy day:
1. put the old bookcase, the leaves from the old table and the drawers from the old chest of drawers into the car
2. To Morrisons to drop off 2 throws for dry cleaning
3. To Cornwall Glass to order a piece of glass for the top of the new bookcase.
4. To The Range to pick up some of those felt sticky things that go on the bottom of table legs. Also some spray carpet cleaning foam (on getting back applied this last to the rug)
5. To the tip at St Erth to shift the stuff in the boot (sadly no one, not even 2 charity shops want the old (but solid and serviceable) furniture. 
6. Home to clean rug and assemble the new table (well new to me)
7. Then also took the saw to the old table base and that is now in the car awaiting the next trip to the tip tomorrow
8. Tomorrow is another day as they say. Only 6900 steps which is very disappointing!
