You wanna spend the winter where....???

Fish feeding duty today and I spotted this chrysalis hanging from one of the plant labels. It's an Owl butterfly and hopefully if it's not too cold, it will overwinter here and emerge in the spring when it gets warmer. 

Spent the afternoon at Mum's tidying up her garden and digging up the last of her potatoes. I haven't even finished my own garden yet! 
We then went out for an early dinner - the Christmas menus are out now, but we stuck with the normal one - it's way too early for turkey for me!
