Dreich

A good Scots word for dreary, bleak weather.  We all had stuff on this morning so five of us met at 1pm for lunch rather than the usual 11.30 ish.  In a rare show of unity we all ordered the same lunch; pancakes with fruit and maple syrup on the side.  I decided to break ranks and admit I don't mind if they pour the maple syrup over the pancakes.  Nobody else agreed with me.
