Stairway To Leaven

Today's image is a shot of my brother taken on our stairs at home (you gotta love that on trend 'vintage' anaglypta wallpaper in the background!). He's not always keen to act as my model but as it was Friday night, we'd not long returned from our customary pint at The Red Bull after I'd picked him up from the station and I'd bribed him with a large glass of wine he was more amenable to my ministrations.
Leavening is an influence that works to lighten or modify something - in this instance I think it was my brother's mood as he seemed to quite enjoy being my photographic muse on this occasion - but it could have just been the beer and wine! :-)
