Some looked a bit laid back in their style of decent.
Some looked as if they knew what they were doing

Although, in the first world war my Grandfather was a gunner on Inchgarvie Island and after having missed the train back after a bit of R&R had to walk out along the bridge and climb down the ladder (in the pitch black) so as not to be posted AWOL.
Just going up the 125+ steps from South Queensferry to the station nearly killed me (I am not as young and fit as I used to be) but my fear of heights would be the final straw.
