L'Armada 2013

Today was the last day of the "Armada 2013" festival and approx. 50 of the finest and largest sailing ships formed the Grand Parade, sailing down the River Seine from Rouen to Honfleur.

Kilometers and kilometers of riverside were crowded with people, having picnics and/or just watching the ships pass by. In the picture it is the Mexican "Cuauhtémoc", the training ship of the Mexican Navy. The sailors waved cheerfully to loud Mexican music coming from the ship !
