Goldfinch

Just as the light was going, I popped out into the garden to check something in the pond, but noticed that this goldfinch had not flown away. I went for a camera and was able to get quite near.  It wasn't completely still, but it was just making little movements to get another seed out of the feeder.  It did eventually fly away, but I don't know how much longer it will survive.  In extras, a robin from today's walk, and some coloured fungus, which I think is yellow brain fungus.
