Just me and the bike this morning.  A peaceful day but the aftermath of the recent storm is everywhere to be seen.  Sand dunes that once flowed gracefully down to the beach have lost about 4 horizontal metres to the sea leaving a vertical wall, exposing the roots of the marram grass.  My bike is parked next to the sand dunes to show the scale in the extra.
