Hare-brained extensions

I caused the trouble. I decided to name my ride Extension if I went on to Burnsall from Embsay and Extensions if I continued to Grassington.  I then started pondering on plays on words and hair extensions.  I couldn't think of anything that usefully rhymed with hair. Then that annoying brainwave said 'hare-brained extensions'.  Trouble was, those two extensions couldn't really be classed as hare-brained.  

So, in order to justify the title, I came up with Langbar on my way home. Oh, and why not the Cow and Calf?!

Nice to feel on form! Slow, but on form!
