Diversity and warm care

Had another day on the workfloor and we welcomed an interim colleague on the workfloor. After giving her the work schedule on paper she started. Like all African mother or females she has that warm caring heart. Her shift ended around 1 pm and she enjoyed working with us and would like to come back in future if needed. Since corona we have good support of interim workers as there was and is a shortage in staff care members. There is also the solution , like i am doing now, to work part time after retirement. It only requires that you have worked a full term which means in my case 42 years. As the majority of care givers are female, we don t have many in that satute. Most of my retired colleagues are happy that they can rest now. In our times 70 's 80's there were no mobile hoists or lifting bath tubes available. It was pure man power. Also the beds were to low and so on. So a lot of care takers at that age have back or other problems.
So far so good i m lucky my health is still ok but i take care of it.
