As I was driving home yesterday after dropping Joe off in Edinburgh, I received a text from him to say he’d forgotten to grab his passport and his new employer needs a copy of it by Saturday..

So, today I met him again to hand over his passport and buy him lunch. That’ll teach him that forgetfulness has consequences. Oh, hang on..
