Broken Gate

On my way to a meeting at Stirling this morning, I stopped off at a layby (not, I hasten to add, to buy a greasy burger) to take this shot looking towards The Ochils. A lovely drive up there with the sun shining over fantastic countryside and I should have taken the time to stop off earlier to capture something a bit more dramatic. However, I do love how this old wood has weathered and the detail of lichens growing on the posts.
