Aquilegia

Aquilegia 's common name is Granny's Bonnet . It is known for the spurred petals of the flowers. We have several different ones in the garden at the moment, all different colours. I rather like this very pale pink version. They are very elegant on their long thin stems.

The HG is being spoilt today for Father's Day; lovely presents from C and G, and we are going out for a meal this evening.

Weather is nice, sometimes sunny and sometimes dull, but at least dry and quite warm.
