Today was mainly taken up with a meeting with Kim, who is line manager of Alan’s support team, and Jordan the team leader.

Just a catch up that usually takes place twice a year, a chance to discuss what’s been happening, iron out any issues (there are rarely any) and make plans. It’s also our chance to officially feedback what an absolutely amazing team they are.

Alan (and we) is so lucky to have such dedicated, caring and forward thinking individuals who only want the best for him and go above and beyond to ensure he has a good life. Kim manages a number of teams on behalf of various individuals and says she’s always holding Alan’s team up as an example of best practice. I am thankful for every one of them every single day.

Other than that we ate Indian take way and binge watched four episodes of Shetland.
