The rose with no name
I am so thrilled to see this cutting is starting to grow. It will look like this eventually.

In the summer, I bent a soft branch from the plant, and ‘layered it’. That is, I put a heavy object on where the branch met the soil, so allowing it to make a new root. I was clearing that bed a few weeks ago and dug up the new rooted plant, popped it in a pot and put it in my propagator!! Looking forward to seeing the new rose flourishing in a couple of year’s time.
