Another mild but blustery day. Intermittent blue skies. The tiler arrived at 8.30 and said he hoped to get all the tiling finished and grouting tomorrow. Hope so - it’s taking way longer than I thought.
Went to upholstery- got all the webbing done and hessian on as well as looping all the back with long loose stitches ready to hold the coir next week . Drove straight to Sherwood to have a look at some ceramic busts that S thought I might like - I didn't though, or at least not enough to buy one. Had a piece of quiche at the bakery for my lunch - delicious! Drove straight on to Mansfield. C is now in the local rehab hospital - its a much smaller place and a lot easier to park! The physios were with her so I went for a cup of tea. She is improving all the time but still can’t stand and is very worried she will be bed bound when she goes home. She obviously needed company so I stayed a good while longer than I expected to. That meant it was too dark for my planned blip on the way home so here is a shot from the hospital car park looking at the church next door - nice leaves I thought! Called in at Wickes and Homebase on the way home but couldn’t get everything I needed so will have to trek over to b and q .
