Whinchat

There were some Golden Orioles reported at one of my regular haunts yesterday, and as I managed to wake up early, I went up for a dawn raid. I wasn't optimistic about seeing them but felt quite confident that I'd see something nice - always a good area. As you can probably guess, I didn't see the Orioles, and shortly after I managed this distant, high ISO shot, it started to rain steadily so I headed home for breakfast. My numbered shot of a whinchat was rubbish. This one is actually much better, but that won't stop me having another run at a better one.
Our move is just over a week away, so please forgive my lack of commenting.
