Along The Lanes

.......... this was actually taken around 3pm, so not at sunset. I had forgotten to take my little compact camera off the ‘sunset’ setting where it adds a filter to enhance any sunset colours. Although it was a mistake I quite like the results, so I’ve stuck with it for today’s blip ;-)

The dispensary at the doctors surgery sent me a standard text at lunch time to say that my prescription was ready to collect ( presumably the correct strength this time ) but no email arrived in response to the one I sent yesterday. I was just beginning to feel a bit disgruntled at the lack of response when the phone rang around 5pm - it was the dispensary manager, who had phoned to apologise ( at some length) and tell me how mortified they all were that it happened - I felt it was a genuinely apologetic response rather than excuses as she said “ there is no excuse for what happened, safety is paramount - we’ve taken steps to prevent it happening again “ and she thanked me for bringing it to their attention.
I’m pleased I did now, as I was a bit concerned I might get labelled as a troublemaker but thankfully, I don’t think that’s the case ;-)
