Honey show

I won thé cake! The judge was delighted with it and said it was a perfect honey cake! I was really pleased with that as it’s the best one I have done and not rather burnt like my previous win!
The frame of capped honey also won, and my block of wax too.
Unfortunately my honeys didn’t do so well. The set honey was slightly underfilled so that was my error. The runny honey had some crystallisation which I knew about, and it had been warming on the Aga to no avail!
And silly me, I sprinkled the shortbread with sugar, because that’s how I like it, but it wasn’t what was asked for….
All good fun anyway!
