55 today !

Lucy surprised me by arriving home a day early ! Then we all had dinner together and it was lovely .
I went off birthdays years ago as I’m not keen on this getting older malarkey… my knee hurts and I make funny noises when I get up out of the chair , when I saw mum earlier today she cheerfully announced that we are another day closer to death and handed me a large box of chocolates. My mum never fails to make me laugh .
