What this is but a guess would be some sort of heat sealing device. J needed more material as she’s making a new cover for the Bands Tubular Bells. So a visit to a tarpaulin company locally (where she got the main bulk of material) for a bit more of a different colour. A lovely old dilapidated workshop and the charming old chap gave her a large scrap for free saying “well it’s someone’s birthday somewhere…!”
