A Journey

Set out on No 10 bus heading for Frederick Street, George Street BOS.
First thing was a car with hazards beside a very crumpled, damaged car, police cars and an ambulance at right angles to the road. Something had happened I daresay.
Next, lying prone on the ground near Boots, Princes Street was a lad with another stooping over him with phone in hand, presumably he was calling for help.
Then after alighting the bus and heading up to a crossing on George Street I saw a motorbike chained to a railing but the railing was completely on top of it, didn't know what happened there but obviously no persons hurt there. Thought I'd take a blip of that when I'd been to the bank. When I came back out these three guys were presumably releasing the bike from the railing.
Did a few more errands and as I was in any case walking past my local garage, GB Motors on Viewforth I thought I'd pop in and tell Ian about my Ford Fusions gear box and the imminent purchase of the Ford I've bought. I couldn't see Ian and asked the young chap if he was around only to be told that he'd tragically died a month ago in a freak motorbike accident on the A720, south of Silverburn.
I was truly shocked, only 56.
