Bird Hides.

Our local RSPB Bird Reseve at Leighton Moss has seven hides in total. Five are on the main site and two are about a mile away 
on the salt marsh lagoon.
We know them well. Today we took friends to visit two of them.

But we are not proper birders. They set up their telescopes and sit on the benches for two or three hours.
We manage perhaps twenty minutes but then if nothing interesting has turned up our thoughts begin to wander towards hot chocolate in the cafe.
