Heading North

After my water colour class I jumped into the car for a four hour journey up to North Yorkshire. I’m staying a couple of nights in a fabulous apartment in Ripon before moving on to Bamburgh, Northumberland for a photo workshop.  

This is the view from the food court at one of the service stations on the M1 (don’t ask me which one … but it was a bit better than many!) taking on the iPhone with long exposure setting. Not bad for Day 1 of my trip north.
