Father's Day

An ode to my papa.

Think this was taken in 1993! Look closely and you can see a small plasticine dino, my Dad is a fantastic artist and has always encouraged my brother and I to explore our creativity.

Like any father/daughter relationship we have had some major ups and downs but I don't think we've ever been closer than we are now. His love for my children is overwhelming which just makes me love him more. He is always there for me if I need him to be despite difficulties in his own life.

He sacrificed his life, family and friends in Malaysia to move to England to be with my brother and I when my mum left him and took us with her. He has not stopped working hard for the both of us since and for that I cannot thank him enough.

(excuse blubbery but I thought it might be nice to write something for him on father's day ;P)
